A bit of otter spotting .....

One of the great advantages of Scone Cottage is the fantastic wild life you can view from its doorstep.You can sit on the balcony and watch the otters playing in the bay as the sun begins to set. But if you really want to get down and dirty there is a magnificent hide on the fore shore of Buidhe Island where you can literally be a matter of feet away from the otters .

The great news is that not many people know where the hide is or how to get there but holiday makers at Scone not only get the inside information of how to get there but they can borrow my 80x20 binoculars to get up close.
